Safehaven is supported in large part through donations made by generous members of our community.  The children served by Safehaven often come with little to no personal belongs.  Below is a list of items that the shelter would be most grateful to receive as donations.   Gift Cards- to area restaurants, book stores, department stores (for children’s activities) Gift Certificates/Passes to movie theaters, bowling alleys, museums, sporting events, plays, musicals  Services- carpet cleaning Appliances (in good condition)- dishwasher, microwave, vacuum cleaner Automotive repair (mechanic labor and parts) to keep our children’s vans operational! Minivan  Duffle Bags  Umbrellas Bedding- Blankets/Comforters//Pillows Hair flat irons Winter coats (new or gently used), scarves, gloves Cleaning Supplies (mops, brooms, detergent, cleaners, rags) Paper plates, plastic ware Shower curtain liners Hygiene Products- feminine hygiene products, shampoo/conditioner/body wash (full size only please), combs/brushes Socks/Underwear – assorted sizes Non Perishable Food Items (call to arrange cold food donations) Tutoring  CD walkmans/batteries Arts and Craft Supplies/Kits Winter Break is approaching, so donations for area passes or gift certificates to contribute toward activities or restaurant outings are appreciated!
